Selvas AI supplies 'MediVoice' to Kangdong Kyunghee University Hospital

Selvas AI , an artificial intelligence and voice recognition specialist, announced on the 14th that it had supplied its medical voice recognition solution, ‘Selvas MediVoice’, to the Department of Radiology at Kangdong Kyunghee University Hospital.

MediVoice is a solution that converts professional medical terminology generated during interpretation into STT (Speech-to-Text) technology in real time in conjunction with a medical imaging (PACS) system and automatically records it as a structured interpretation opinion.

Selvas AI plans to launch its intelligent medical AI agent business in earnest, starting with MediVoice, to automate various work flows within hospitals.

MediVoice, which focuses on radiology, is also preparing customized products such as ▲1-person treatment environment ▲2-person face-to-face environment to respond to various treatment situations in real medical environments such as electronic medical records (EMR) and nursing records (ENR). Through this, hospitals can flexibly select and apply solutions optimized for their work flow, and it is expected that this will ultimately contribute to improved treatment immersion and improved hospital operation efficiency.

This voice-based automation technology is expected to be utilized as a core technology of the intelligent AI Agent structure that will execute various work flows within the hospital in real time, such as ▲collaborative scheduling ▲automatic request generation ▲insurance claim support ▲discharge guidance. It is expected that collaboration and work convenience within the hospital will be improved as well as patient safety and satisfaction by having a single medical AI agent connect and perform the hospital work flow that was previously segmented into patient treatment-medical consultation-nursing-hospital administration.

Yoon Jae-seon, head of Selvas AI’s voice recognition business, said, “MediVoice is evolving beyond simple voice recording into a component of a medical AI agent that organically connects key tasks within a hospital,” adding, “We will continue to realize a practical technology roadmap for implementing a smart treatment environment.”
