ICT specialist company Ucube (CEO Kim Jeong-beom) announced on the 14th that it participated in the '2025 Defense Industry Innovation Company Investment Briefing' held at the Changwon Convention Center on July 10th and presented its technological prowess and business vision.
This briefing session was hosted by Korea Growth Investment Management, and was held for the third time this year with the aim of attracting investment from defense technology companies. A total of eight companies were selected for IR presentations, and U-Cube was invited as a presenter in recognition of its defense technology. The event was attended by many private investment organizations, including officials from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and related organizations, Hana Bank, and the Defense Technology Innovation Fund management company.
CEO Kim Jeong-beom of Ucube introduced unmanned vehicle communication and quantum security technology at IR. The company’s long-distance drone communication equipment ‘CUBE Link’ developed is the first in Korea to support long-distance drone operation of up to 20km at a frequency of 433MHz, and is a system suitable for military drones as it is ultra-small, ultra-light, low-power, anti-jamming, and has multi-drone control functions.
In addition, the quantum random number-based security solution 'CUBE i Q-KDS' is a key distribution and management system that utilizes quantum random numbers to generate unpredictable encryption keys compared to existing security technologies to respond to cyber attacks. This technology received the National Intelligence Service security suitability certification in 2024.
Based on its performance in more than 10 government R&D projects, Ucube has proven its technological prowess and business feasibility, and plans to grow into a leading company in the deep tech field through future defense procurement registration and expansion into the public market.
