POSCO E&C Co., Ltd. announced on the 11th that it has concluded booth operations in collaboration with local partner Metro Co., Ltd. at ‘Manufacturing World Tokyo 2025’ held at Makuhari Messe, Japan from July 9th to 11th.
Metro participated in this event and Posisys collaborated to present the 'eformsign-based paperless manufacturing solution' to the Japanese manufacturing industry. Metro is a SI (system integration) company specializing in the manufacturing industry in Japan, and is particularly strong in promoting DX in the manufacturing industry, making it a partner of Posisys that can approach various manufacturing industries.
The core of the paperless manufacturing solution that POSCO introduced at this exhibition was ▲the function to digitalize representative forms in the manufacturing DX field such as on-site inspection sheets, employment contracts, outsourcing contracts, and security pledges and process them in one place from writing to approval and storage; ▲the function to write and manage checklists for each production process, quality control documents, and safety inspection reports in real time on mobile and tablet; ▲the electronic signature and multi-step approval workflow functions tailored to the characteristics of the manufacturing industry.
During the event, the POSCO booth was visited by a variety of manufacturing industry professionals, including large Japanese manufacturers, auto parts manufacturers, and machinery manufacturers, to experience the solution. In particular, the field staff showed great interest by inquiring about digitalization plans for various forms actually used in manufacturing sites, from on-site inspection sheets to various contracts and security pledges, and achieved the result of receiving many on-site consultations and requests for future introduction review related to digital transformation of manufacturing sites.
The CEO of POSCO Japan said, “Through our collaboration with Metro, we were able to successfully present a paperless solution that meets the actual needs of the Japanese manufacturing industry,” adding, “It was a very meaningful exhibition because we were able to confirm the hot interest of local officials in solutions that can digitally transform various forms used on a daily basis in manufacturing sites, such as site inspection forms, employment contracts, outsourcing contracts, and security pledges.”
