
Design platform company Miridi (CEO Kang Chang-seok) announced on the 15th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education (Superintendent Yoon Geon-yeong) to strengthen digital capabilities in public education.
This agreement was held on the 14th at the Chungbuk Office of Education headquarters, and the two organizations shared the need for introducing AI-based design tools to public education sites and discussed practical cooperation plans to improve the efficiency of teachers' class preparation and create a creative educational environment.
According to the agreement, MiRidi will provide licenses for its design solution 'MiRicanvas Pro' to faculty and staff under the Chungbuk Office of Education from September 2024 to February 2027. In addition, it plans to operate various support programs such as real-time online seminars, recorded lecture materials, class templates, use cases, and online and offline training.
'MiriCanvas' is an AI-based design editing tool that is currently being used as a class support tool in over 3,000 elementary, middle, and high schools and universities nationwide, and is expanding its cooperation cases with various city and provincial offices of education, including Chungcheongbuk-do, Jeollanam-do, and Gwangju.
Miridi CEO Kang Chang-seok said, “AI utilization and digital literacy are core competencies of future education,” and added, “We will provide optimized design solutions that can reduce teachers’ teaching burden and contribute to creating a creative educational environment.”
