Crit Ventures USA (CEO Jongwook Oh), the US branch of Crit Ventures (CEO Jaejun Song), announced on the 15th that it had made a seed investment in AI content startup AboveTech (Co-CEOs Joowon Choi and Seongwon Jeong).
This investment round was led by Jong-wook Oh, CEO of Crit Ventures USA, with joint participation from GD Ventures and Seoul National University Startup Network Angel Club. Prior to joining Crit Ventures, CEO Oh had participated in numerous early-stage investments, including Carrot Market, Jarvis, and DeepX.
AboveTech is a startup that develops content platforms based on artificial intelligence (AI), and operates AI consulting chatbot service ‘Zendi’ and AI memorial platform ‘dearever’.
Choi Joo-won, co-CEO of Abovetech, said, “Our goal is to create a platform with global competitiveness in the content field based on AI,” and “We will grow into an influential content platform in the global market through K-AI content.”
“Abovetech is a team with a sense for content and execution capabilities,” said Jongwook Oh, CEO of Crit Ventures USA. “We expect that they will be able to provide a differentiated user experience in the interactive content market and grow rapidly.”
