Hongneung Gangso Special Zone, Ventureblic and 'Korea-Singapore Healthcare Connect Day' Jointly Held

Hongneung Special Zone (Director Lim Hwan) announced that it held 'Healthcare Connect – Korea x Singapore' on the 10th in cooperation with VentureBlick (CEO Lee Hee-yeol), a global expansion partner specializing in healthcare.

This event was organized to increase understanding between the ecosystems and explore practical global cooperation possibilities with the participation of major healthcare organizations and companies from both Korea and Singapore. In particular, major healthcare innovation organizations from Singapore visited Korea and held discussions to establish a sustainable cooperation platform between the two countries.

Participating institutions include ▲co11ab Novena ▲HealthTEC.SG ▲National Health Innovation Centre Singapore (NHIC) ▲SingHealth Polyclinics from Singapore, and various cooperation plans were discussed through in-depth meetings with Hongneung Special Zone, Kyung Hee University Medical Center, and Ventureblic prior to the event.

The event began with a welcoming speech by the Hongneung Gangso Special Zone Director, followed by keynote speeches by Yong Hong-taek, the chairman of Meditech Organizing Committee, and Lee Hee-yeol, CEO of Ventureblic. Afterwards, the Singaporean organizations introduced their respective strategies and areas of potential cooperation, and presented directions for cooperation with Korea.

In addition, an English pitching session was held with the participation of promising healthcare companies in Hongneung Special Economic Zone ▲Seven Point One ▲GH Pharm ▲Superpas, sharing each company’s technology and global strategies. A networking session following the event also provided a venue for practical exchanges among attendees.

Hongneung Special Economic Zone Director Lim Hwan said, “This program was an opportunity for domestic healthcare companies to increase their global expansion potential by connecting with overseas partners,” and added, “We will actively support so that this can lead to specific cooperation such as joint research, verification, and startup exchanges based in Hongneung.”

Ventureblic CEO Lee Hee-yeol said, “This event was a meaningful opportunity to discuss the possibility of practical cooperation based on mutual understanding of the healthcare ecosystem between Korea and Singapore,” adding, “I hope that continued exchanges in the future will lead to specific cases of cooperation.”
