Korea ST Trading (CEO Won-dong Cho and Sang-jun Jeong) announced on the 16th that it signed a business agreement with Charjiin, a company specializing in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, to promote token securities (STO) business.
According to this agreement, the two companies will cooperate in linking token securities, which are changing the paradigm of the capital market, and eco-friendly electric vehicle charging infrastructure business. To this end, they will cooperate in ▲ analyzing business sites for expanding domestic and overseas charging infrastructure ▲ issuing token securities for charging infrastructure with excellent business feasibility ▲ providing charging infrastructure investment opportunities for general investors ▲ supporting the distribution of charging infrastructure token securities, etc.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to lead the digital transformation of real-world assets and expand investment accessibility.
In May, Korea ST Trading received designation as an innovative financial service from the Financial Services Commission for its ‘over-the-counter distribution platform service for investment contract securities based on small business joint venture profit rights.’
In particular, by acquiring the 'Profit Securities Investment Brokerage' license, which is scheduled to be institutionalized on September 30, the company plans to build a platform for integrated distribution of trust profit securities and investment contract securities, thereby taking the lead in activating the new securities distribution market before the enactment of token securities legislation.
CEO Choi Young-seok of Chargein said, “We will work with Korea ST Trading to expand the business model of converting electric vehicle charging stations into digital assets and distributing profits.”
