CNT Tech (CEO Jeon Hwa-seong) and SM Culture Partners (CEO Park Sung-ho) announced that they are recruiting participating companies for the 3rd round of the 'CultureTech Challenge', an open innovation program that works with promising culturetech startups.
The Culture Tech Challenge is a program that discovers and supports promising culture tech startups that create new values by fusing culture and technology. It places value on leading the domestic and international cultural industries by discovering a model of mutual growth through collaboration between SM Entertainment, the parent company of SM Culture Partners, and startups.
The 3rd Culture Tech Challenge will select startups in three fields: product business, space business, and autonomous proposal, including startups with new ideas for product planning using SM Entertainment IP and global promoters capable of operating distribution and space businesses such as pop-ups.
The selected startups will be provided with an accelerating program including deriving collaborative tasks with SM Entertainment, PMF verification, production of results through advanced collaboration consulting, networking, and demo day. In addition, CNT Tech will consider direct investment in excellent companies and linking them with TIPS.
The support target is ▲Campustown Enterprise Growth Center (incubation/graduation companies and university startups), ▲Early Startup Package ('22~'25 selection and graduation companies), ▲Startups that fall under IBK Changgong (incubation and graduation companies). Detailed information can be found on the K-STARTUP homepage.
Meanwhile, in the second round of the Culture Tech Challenge that was held last year, a total of 15 promising startups were selected and conducted business verification with SM Entertainment, and ▲AI Park ▲Digital Log Technologies ▲Team Pass were selected as the final excellent companies.
