The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA, CEO Kim Hyun-woo) will recruit game and e-sports companies to newly move into the Seoul Game Content Center for approximately three weeks starting on Wednesday, July 16 to support incubation of capable small and medium-sized game and e-sports companies and help them grow into competitive global companies.
The Seoul Game Content Center, located on the 8th to 10th floors of the Synergy Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, is an incubation facility specializing in game companies. It contributes to the growth of game developers and the development of the Seoul game industry by providing support for new tenants and customized support projects according to the game development cycle.
In this new recruitment of tenants, a total of 5 promising game and e-sports companies with the potential to grow into globally competitive companies will be selected. Qualifications and targets for tenants are: ▲ Excellent game development companies or teams located in Seoul or seeking to relocate to Seoul ▲ Companies that engage in game development and distribution ▲ Companies and associations/organizations that operate game/e-sports related businesses ▲ Companies among the above types that seek to relocate their headquarters or branches to Seoul and conduct business.
The final selected game and e-sports companies will be able to receive support such as software (Adobe) licenses and testing equipment rentals, as well as capacity building programs such as networking, education, and mentoring.
The application period is until 3:00 PM on Friday, August 1, and companies wishing to move in can apply by submitting required and optional documents through the ‘Business Application’ page on the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency website .
