Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, '2025 Startup Leap Package Dae-Star Open Innovation Meetup Day' held

Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Noh Chung-sik) announced that it held the 'Large Corporation-Startup Open Innovation Program Meet-Up Day' of the '2025 Startup Leap Package Project' at the Change Up Ground in Pohang on the 15th together with POSCO Holdings.

This event is a startup leap package collaboration program for large corporations hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do and the Startup Promotion Agency and operated by the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center. A place was prepared for 6 promising startups selected from across the country and the working department of POSCO Holdings to participate and discuss in-depth the possibility of 1:1 technology exchange and proof-of-concept (PoC) cooperation.

The Meetup Day program consisted of ▲technology presentations and corporate introductions by participating startups ▲sharing of collaborative projects ▲networking meetings with POSCO executives ▲tours of the ChangeUpGround site, and participating companies directly proposed their technologies to POSCO’s industrial sites and discussed practical commercialization cooperation plans.
The startups that participated in the event that day were Omnicote Co., Ltd. (digital printing technology based on eco-friendly dry toner), EAPOS Co., Ltd. (development of eco-friendly co-extractors), Sungkwang ENF Co., Ltd. (production of bio-pyrolysis oil using unused biomass), LabQ Co., Ltd. (AI-based quality construction automation solution), ABR Co., Ltd. (direct recycling cathode active material technology), and AD Energy Solution Co., Ltd. (color solar energy-based HRAV system).

A POSCO Holdings official said, “Technological collaboration with startups is a key strategy not only for solving problems in the industrial field but also for securing sustainable future competitiveness,” adding, “We hope that this meetup day will produce tangible joint results.”

Noh Chung-sik, CEO of the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, said, “In order to provide meaningful opportunities for technologically capable startups to connect directly with large corporations, the center will explore diverse collaboration methods and plan and operate customized open innovation programs for each field.”
