Gangwon Innovation Center, '2025 G-Startup Investment Attraction Networking Day' held

Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Hae-jeong, hereinafter referred to as 'Gangwon Innovation Center') announced that it held the '2025 G-Startup Investment Attraction Networking Day' at the Chuncheon ICT Venture Center on July 16.

This event was designed to strengthen investment capacity and expand networks for local startups participating in the '2025 G-Startup Youth Entrepreneurship Support Project'. Through various programs such as practical lectures, discussion sessions, and free networking, practical information on investment and know-how on establishing strategies were shared.

In the first session, ‘Lecture on Investment Strategies by Institution’, ▲Choi Seong-yong, Head of Kangwon National University Technology Holding Company, ▲Lee Hee-woo, CEO of Hallym University Technology Holding Company, ▲Jeong Yun-seok, Reviewer of Kangwon Innovation Center Strategic Investment Headquarters, took the stage as presenters and introduced key points of IR data from each institution’s investment perspective, investment review criteria, and strategies that entrepreneurs should consider.

In the second part of the symposium, experts who participated in the lectures conducted a practical Q&A session based on preliminary demand surveys and on-site questions from startups, and specific discussions were held on how to appeal to the strengths of early-stage companies and differences in investment approaches by institutions.

Lastly, a practical forum for exchange was created to explore future investment connections and collaboration possibilities through free networking time between startups and investment agency practitioners.

Lee Hae-jeong, head of the Gangwon Innovation Center, said, “This event is very meaningful in that it provides an opportunity to directly communicate with investment institutions and review corporate strategies,” and added, “We will continue to provide practical support that startups can experience in the field.”
