Kyungkonjin, Yoonmin-Gyeonggi Seed Level Up Venture Investment Association Formed

Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency (President Tak Yong-seok, hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency) held the 'Yunmin-Gyeonggi Seed Level Up Venture Investment Association' formation ceremony at the Yunmin Creative Investment Foundation in Seocho-gu, Seoul on July 15 and announced that it will begin full-scale investment in content startups in the province.

This venture investment fund is worth a total of 3 billion won, with Kyungkonjin contributing 600 million won as a special partner (LP) and the Yoonmin Creative Investment Foundation operating the fund as an executive partner (GP). The Yoonmin Creative Investment Foundation is a private investment organization that has continued to discover creative and challenging talents and invest in early-stage startups.

This ceremony was graced by the presence of Yoon Min-chang Investment Foundation Chairman Seong Min-seop, Director Son Ju-eun, Director Cheon Ji-hwan, and Gyeonggi Contents Corporation President Tak Yong-seok. This fund is a representative example of public-private cooperation aimed at strengthening the growth foundation of the content industry and expanding investment attraction opportunities for promising startups in the province. In particular, 28 early-stage content startups selected for the '2025 Gyeonggi Level Up Program' operated by Gyeonggi Contents Corporation are expected to create tangible results in the form of step-by-step growth support and investment linkage by giving priority investment review to them.

Kyungkonjin CEO Tak Yong-seok said, “This fund will serve as a foundation for providing practical funds to early-stage content startups when they need it most,” and added, “We will strengthen the local corporate ecosystem and create a sustainable content industry ecosystem through cooperation with private investment firms.”
