Humanscape and St. Mary's Women's Hospital Establish 'Mami Talk Kids Development Clinic'

– Expanding the scope from pregnancy and childcare platform to child development support

Digital healthcare company Humanscape announced on the 16th that it has established the 'Mami Talk Kids Development Clinic', a hospital-affiliated facility, in cooperation with Suwon St. Mary's Women's Hospital.

St. Mary's Women's Hospital, a specialized obstetrics and gynecology hospital designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, has been responsible for the health of women and children in the Suwon area. With the establishment of this development clinic, it plans to provide one-stop medical services covering pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, and establish a comprehensive maternal and child health service system.

HumanScape plans to establish a professional child development support system based on the content and digital platform operation capabilities acquired through the operation of the pregnancy and childcare platform ‘MamiTalk’, as well as the experience of operating two development clinics.

Mamitok Kids Development Clinic provides customized programs according to the child's developmental stage. The main treatment areas are △Speech therapy △Sensory integration therapy △Cognitive therapy △Group therapy, etc., and each is designed to improve language ability, sensory development, cognitive ability, and sociality. In particular, it is characterized by establishing an integrated treatment plan after comprehensively evaluating the developmental characteristics of each child, rather than focusing on a single treatment.

Humanscape Jeong Sang-gi, head of the developmental delay and treatment division, said, “As the COVID-19 pandemic progressed, parents’ interest in developmental delay and treatment increased, and Mamitok expanded the scope of support from pregnancy and childcare information services to developmental treatment,” adding, “We will strive to create synergy between the medical expertise of St. Mary’s Hospital for Women and Mamitok’s user-centered platform capabilities.”

St. Mary’s Women’s Hospital Director Kim Dong-ju said, “We have combined our existing obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics know-how with new developmental treatment services to provide one-stop medical services from pregnancy to child development,” adding, “We expect this to significantly improve accessibility to child development treatment in the region.”
