Mission Law Firm and Korea Investment Accelerator Launch ‘Global Base Camp’

Mission Law Firm (CEO Kim Seong-hun) and Korea Investment Accelerator (CEO Baek Yeo-hyeon) announced on the 17th that they are jointly launching 'Global Basecamp', a premium networking program for entrepreneurs preparing to enter the U.S. market.

Global Base Camp is a networking event where entrepreneurs aiming to enter the US market gather to share their experiences and discuss entry strategies. It features in-depth one-on-one conversations and small-scale participation. It is held once a month in various forms such as dinner, camping, and rooftop dinner, and the number of participants is limited to about 10 people. Participants are limited to regular and associate members of the 'Cross Border Membership' of the law firm Mission and representatives of the portfolio companies of the Korea Investment Accelerator, ensuring the professionalism and quality of the program.

It is scheduled to be held a total of 5 times in 2025, and local Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, American investors, and venture capitalists with extensive cross-border investment experience will participate as hosts to share their experiences and know-how in entering the US market. At the first event held on June 25, Park Se-hyeok, CIO of commerce advertising platform Moloco, interacted with participants.

Kim Seong-hun, managing attorney at Mission Law Firm, said, “Global expansion is a challenge that entrepreneurs who dream of innovation must overcome,” and added, “Through the Global Base Camp, we will become a solid foundation that provides information, trust, and networks to entrepreneurs.”

Baek Yeo-hyeon, CEO of Korea Investment Accelerator, said, “In order for portfolio companies to succeed in the global market, practical experience and networks are essential in addition to financial support,” and “This program will provide practical help in preparing for entry into the U.S. market.”
