Hongneung Gangso Special Zone, 2024 Post Tips Selected Company Target '1st Comprehensive IR' Ends

The Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) Hongneung Special Zone announced that it held the first comprehensive IR event as part of the '2024 Post-TIPS' project at Startup Branch on the 15th. This event was designed to support follow-up investment attraction and global expansion of technology-based startups.

PostTips is a scale-up support program for startups with high growth potential among the TIPS program graduates. In particular, it aims to strengthen global market competitiveness, focusing on companies in the deep tech field.

On this day, 13 companies selected by Posttips participated in the event and conducted IR pitching introducing technologies and business models in various fields such as healthcare, AI, mobility, and semiconductors. Participating companies include ▲Twinpig Biolab ▲Nettarget ▲Biobank Healing ▲Bionsite ▲Pansye ▲Petnow ▲Korea Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Technology ▲Eoding ▲Team Elysium ▲Hurempro ▲Humelo ▲Skia ▲JCF Technology.

On the investment side, a total of 24 judges from 17 domestic and foreign venture capital (VC) and corporate venture capital (CVC) institutions, including Daewoong Investment, Smilegate Investment, and Z Venture Capital, attended. After listening to the presentations of each company, they held individual meetings with up to 7 investment companies through 1:1 meetup consultations. This led to time to seek practical follow-up investment and cooperation opportunities.

Hongneung Special Economic Zone Director Lim Hwan said, “Deep tech-based startups are key to not only technological innovation but also strengthening industrial competitiveness,” adding, “We will continue to operate various linkage programs so that excellent technology companies can achieve tangible results in terms of commercialization and investment attraction.”
