Development outsourcing platform DIO (operator Space Y, CEO Hwang Hyeon-tae) announced on the 18th that it has signed a technology partnership agreement with electronic payment gateway (PG) company Toss Payments. This agreement was pursued to respond to the demand for payment technology targeting B2B merchants, and the two companies have established a full-fledged cooperation system based on their practical collaboration experience over the past six months.
DIO has responded to the payment integration needs of various B2B merchants in various industries of Toss Payments. In particular, it focused on designing a customized payment structure for each merchant's backend system and solving technical issues such as improving user experience (UX) and automating settlement. The two companies have jointly carried out multiple projects including education, commerce, and subscription services, and have established a flexible and stable integration environment.
The actual collaboration was operated based on the 'sprint method', which completed everything from planning to development within a short period of time, and this was evaluated as a strength in that it supported the client's rapid response to the market.
“This partnership is the result of DIO’s technological capabilities being officially verified by an external partner,” said SpaceY CEO Hwang Hyun-tae. “We will strengthen our position as a strategic technology partner that can contribute to improving the overall B2B payment environment beyond simple development outsourcing.”
Additionally, Song Seung-in, a sales manager in charge of collaboration at Spaceway, said, “Payment integration is a field that requires complex technical capabilities,” and “Through collaboration with Toss Payments, we will prove the value of technology-centered outsourcing services.”
