
AI-based biometric authentication technology company Mesacure Company announced on the 21st that it was finally selected for the '2025 Global Shinhan Innoboost Open Innovation' program. This program is a global open innovation project hosted by Shinhan Vietnam Bank and jointly operated by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (Seoul Startup Hub) and Shinhan Future's Lab Vietnam.
This program aims to support technology verification (PoC) and joint commercialization for global startups, and six companies were finally selected out of approximately 200 participating companies. Among them, two are domestic companies, and Mesacure Company was selected for the facial recognition-based e-KYC (non-face-to-face real-name verification) financial solution sector, and will conduct a joint development and verification project with Shinhan Bank Vietnam.
Selected companies will be provided with ▲PoC development and local commercialization funding ▲mentoring from Shinhan Vietnam Bank and external experts ▲networking opportunities with local investors and partners, etc. Through this, Mesacure Company plans to verify its biometric authentication solution in the Vietnamese financial market and develop customized services suited to the local environment.
Mesacure Company is actively entering the global market based on the AI technology and practical experience it has accumulated through collaboration with public institutions and financial institutions. This collaboration is expected to be an opportunity to increase brand awareness and expand the market in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam.
Mesacure Company CEO Lee Ji-hoon said, “As a domestic company, it is a meaningful achievement to be selected for this global open innovation program,” and added, “Based on our past project experience, we will produce tangible results in the Vietnamese market and accelerate our future global business expansion.”
