Jaranda, Strategic Partnership with Olymplanet

Edtech startup Jaranda (CEO Seonghwan Kim) and XR (extended reality) technology company Olymplanet announced on the 15th that they have signed a strategic partnership to create a convergence education ecosystem for children using AI and XR technologies.

The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on this day and agreed to carry out diverse cooperation, including joint development of AI and XR-based educational content, cooperation on media and educational content, and sharing of industry information. The purpose of this agreement is to present a new educational method for children and adolescents growing up as digital natives.

Based on its experience in operating AI tutors and on-demand education programs that grow, it plans to reflect practical user experiences in the field of education. Olymplanet provides immersive educational content by utilizing its XR content production technology and ‘XROO Edu,’ a convergence education solution that combines AI, XR, and coding.

“AI and XR-based experiential education is a key tool that goes beyond knowledge transfer to drive creativity and immersion,” said Shin Seung-ho, head of marketing at Olymplait. “Through our collaboration with Jaranda, we will create a new standard for digital education in the domestic and international education markets.”

Jaranda Noh Ha-hyun, the Chief Operating Officer, said, “The fusion of AI education tailored to children’s eye level and realistic content is the core of future education,” and “We will present a model with educational effectiveness and scalability by combining the technologies and know-how of both companies.”
