Amist, '2025 Super Gap Startup 1000+' Eco-friendly sector final selection

Amist (CEO Jong-won Hwang) was finally selected in the 'Eco-Friendly' category of the '2025 Ultra-Gap Startup 1000+' project hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

'Super Gap Startup 1000+' is a national project that discovers and fosters promising technology startups that will lead the future industries of Korea in 10 future strategic fields: ▲system semiconductors ▲bio and health ▲future mobility ▲eco-friendliness and energy ▲robots ▲AI and big data ▲cybersecurity and networks ▲aerospace and marine ▲next-generation nuclear power plants ▲quantum technology.

Amist was selected for the environmentally friendly category of the '2025 Super Gap Startup 1000+' project in recognition of its eco-friendly technology and global market expandability through high-strength mobility structural adhesive materials that utilize bio and carbon dioxide chemical conversion technologies.

Through this selection for the '2025 Ultra-Gap Startup 1000+', Amist will receive a total of KRW 1.1 billion in funding, including up to KRW 600 million in commercialization funds over three years and up to KRW 500 million in R&D funds through a separate evaluation based on corporate needs. In addition, it will be able to secure growth opportunities through various programs such as global investment attraction, technological advancement, and collaboration with large corporations, and receive additional linked support such as up to KRW 10 billion in low-interest funds as a preferential company through government policies.

Amist CEO Hwang Jong-won said, “This selection as one of the 2025 Super Gap Startups 1000+ is a recognition of our eco-friendly chemical materials technology,” and added, “In the future, we will bring innovation to the market with eco-friendly materials developed by Amist, such as synthetic resins based on petrochemical materials used in adhesives, paints, and coatings.”
