The 'Discovery of Representative Eastern Brand Stores and Regional Specialized Content Marketing Distribution Support' project promoted by the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency (Director Yong-seok Tak, hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency) has officially begun. Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency announced that it held a local curator workshop as the first step of the project for 2 nights and 3 days from July 14th at the Namyangju Dongwha Culture Village.
This project aims to discover stores representing the region in eight cities and counties in the eastern part of Gyeonggi Province (Gapyeong, Gwangju, Guri, Namyangju, Yangpyeong, Yeoju, Icheon, Hanam) and to intensively support marketing and content distribution to increase their brand value. To this end, a total of 10 local curators were selected, recording a competition rate of approximately 9:1.
Starting with the workshop, local curators will select representative stores in each region through further education and consulting, and will carry out all marketing activities, including production of promotional content, video and publication planning, and production of store promotional materials. This workshop was led by content creator Jinwoo Park (Jerebak), who carried out the ‘Seongsu Textbook’ project, and was operated with a focus on strengthening the on-site practical skills of curators.
Kyungkonjin plans to build a collaborative system with local stores centered around local curators and develop it into a self-sustaining local economic model. Director Tak Yong-seok said, “We will create a structure where curators and stores grow together, and through this, we will produce tangible results in revitalizing the local economy.”
