Avis Signs Partnership Agreement with Naver Cloud

AIVIS Inc. (CEO Daehong Lee), a company specializing in AI-based digital pathology solutions, announced on the 21st that it signed a ‘partnership agreement for solution business cooperation’ with Naver Cloud.

This partnership is centered on providing Avis' flagship AI pathology analysis solution, the 'Qanti' product line, through the Naver Cloud Platform Marketplace. Through this, domestic medical institutions, research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, etc. will be able to easily introduce and utilize Avis' innovative AI solutions on the strong security and stability infrastructure provided by Naver Cloud.

Avis' 'Quanti IHC' is a software medical device that objectively quantifies biomarkers by precisely analyzing digitally scanned immunohistochemical (IHC) stained tissue images using AI. It is evaluated as a technology that can overcome the subjectivity and deviation of existing visual interpretation and dramatically improve the accuracy and reproducibility of diagnosis and research. In addition, 'Quanti Ki-67 Micro' is a solution that quickly analyzes Ki-67 biomarker images acquired directly from a general digital microscope on-site without an expensive digital pathology scanner, and is characterized by increased accessibility in various pathological environments.

Under this agreement, Avis will be responsible for providing high-quality customer support services to Naver Cloud customers, including ▲providing solution introduction information and user manuals, ▲operating technical support channels to respond to inquiries about installation, setup, and failures, and ▲providing continuous solution upgrades and updates.

Naver Cloud has obtained all major certifications related to personal information protection and information security, providing the highest level of security environment for handling medical data. Through this partnership, Avis has provided high reliability to customers handling sensitive medical data and has laid an important foundation for expanding its cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) business model in earnest.

Lee Dae-hong, CEO of Avis, said, “This agreement is an important milestone that combines Avis’ innovative AI technology with Naver Cloud’s unrivaled cloud infrastructure,” adding, “It will help many domestic medical institutions and research institutes more easily and safely introduce the best-in-class AI pathology analysis solutions, contributing to improving precision medicine research and diagnostic efficiency.”

A Naver Cloud official said, “Based on Naver Cloud’s strong security and stability, we will actively cooperate so that Avis’ innovative solutions can be successfully provided to more customers. We will continue to contribute to expanding the domestic medical AI ecosystem together with competitive partners such as Avis.”
