Ipels Co., Ltd. (CEO Hyunmin Cho), a global IT solution distribution and technology service company, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a software solution master supply agreement (MSA) with LG Electronics (CEO Joowan Cho) and has begun full-scale conquest of the global market centered on North America.
Through this agreement, Eifels has secured the right to supply LG Electronics’ OTA (Over-the-Air) device management (DM) software solution to global customers. Based on this, Eifels plans to provide integrated services such as customized construction, technical support, and maintenance to customers in various regions including North America.
Eifels is a company with proven technology in embedded system development and remote maintenance, and has carried out OTA-based projects for major domestic and international manufacturers such as LG Energy Solution and LS ELECTRIC. Through this collaboration, the company plans to strengthen its role as a global technology partner that supports the entire product life cycle, from customer-tailored consulting to update process design and after-sales operations.
In addition, Eifels will deploy local IT personnel in the Philippines, trained through its own talent matching platform, 'DigiJob', to this project. These personnel are evaluated to have local customer response capabilities and operational efficiency based on their understanding of OTA technology and global project experience. In the future, the two companies plan to gradually expand the scope of their cooperation, including joint marketing, expansion of local support bases, and joint development of new functions.
“Through this collaboration, we will strengthen our position in the North American market and provide optimized services to global customers,” said Eifels CEO Hyunmin Cho.
An LG Electronics official said, “We are excited to be working with a partner with execution capabilities in the North American market, and we believe this agreement will be a turning point for the global expansion of LG Electronics solutions.”
