Ellis Group's AI public education solution brand ' Ellis School ' announced on the 22nd that it has been selected as the implementing institution for the '2025 AI·Digital-based Education Innovation Leading Teacher Training' hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS). Ellis School will operate online and offline training for elementary, middle, high school, and special school teachers in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions until August.
This training is a large-scale training program that fosters teachers who will lead innovation in teaching and evaluation methods in response to the era of artificial intelligence (AI). Following the 'TOUCH Teacher Training' in 2023 and the 'Classroom Revolution Leading Teacher Training' in 2024, Ellis School has been awarded a contract for the national teacher training project for three consecutive years.
The training will consist of preliminary training in June, remote training in July, and group training over four sessions from July 26 to August 8. The training will utilize the AI education practice platform 'Ellis School LXP' specialized in public education, and through this platform, teachers will experience AI education content centered on practice.
In this training course, Ellis School plans to support teachers to effectively apply AI to actual educational settings by applying AI-based quiz generation functions and AIDT (Artificial Intelligence Digital Transformation Education) core services to its platform. Participating teachers will also be provided with an account that allows unlimited experience with generative AI models.
This training will be hosted by Ellis School, and KT CS and the Korea Standards Association will participate as cooperative organizations to operate a systematic training course that reflects the expertise of each organization.
Kim Jae-won, CEO of Ellis Group, said, “Ellis School has trained over 1,000 leading teachers last year, and we plan to provide training for over 1,200 people this year as well,” adding, “Based on our experience in AI education, we will provide practical training content to help teachers increase their productivity and capabilities in public education settings.”
