
Global AI search startup Liner (CEO Jinwoo Kim) announced on the 22nd that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with BC Card (CEO Wonseok Choi) and will begin full-scale business cooperation by launching a new service that combines artificial intelligence (AI) technology and payment data.
The signing ceremony took place at 10:00 AM on this day at the BC Card headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, with the attendance of representatives and key officials from both companies. The purpose of this agreement is to create real customer value by merging the AI technology and payment data-based analysis capabilities of each company.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to pursue step-by-step cooperation in various fields, including ▲development of AI-based joint services, ▲launching customized customer services using data analysis, and ▲planning new services using AI technology.
The two companies announced that they will provide the 'Most Accurate Restaurant AI Search' service on the Liner mobile app (Korean version) starting today. The service provides a function that recommends restaurants tailored to the user by comprehensively analyzing Liner's AI search technology based on BC Card's payment data, such as time zone congestion, customer group characteristics, and real-time information in the commercial area.
Liner explained that this collaboration is a case that shows the practical use of AI technology through technology convergence across industries. Liner CEO Jinwoo Kim said, “The core role of AI is to provide precise information that fits the user’s context,” and “Through this collaboration, we plan to expand cooperation with various industries and accelerate the use of AI technology in everyday life.”
BC Card CEO Choi Won-seok said, “We will develop a differentiated AI service model by combining Liner’s AI search technology, which has been proven in the global market, with our data analysis capabilities,” adding, “We plan to continue to introduce innovative AI technology-based services in the future.”
