Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Joo-Hyun Yoo) held the 3rd preliminary round of the '2025 Startup Idea Audition' G-Star Pitchday at the Gimcheon Rosenia Hotel on the 17th.
This time, the 3rd preliminary round of '2025 G-Star Pitchday' was held as the '2025 Daegyeong-Gyeonggi Angel Investment Forum (July) x G-Star Pitchday' event co-hosted with the Daegyeong-Gyeonggi Angel Investment Hub. A total of 13 companies, including prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage entrepreneurs in the Gyeongbuk region who have been in business for less than 3 years, participated in this preliminary round and presented creative startup ideas.
A total of 13 companies participated in the '2025 Daegu-Gyeonggi Area Angel Investment Forum (July) x G-Star Pitchday' event, where prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs in the Gyeongbuk region who are 39 years of age or younger and have been in business for less than 3 years had a meaningful time having 1:1 consultations with a panel of 10 professional investors and startup experts to evaluate the feasibility of their ideas and receive feedback for attracting investment.
G-Star Pitch Day will have three preliminary rounds to select nine teams (three teams per competition), and the winners of each preliminary round will receive a prize of one million won for the grand prize, five hundred thousand won for the idol prize, and three hundred thousand won for the encouragement prize.
The nine teams that won awards in the G-Star Pitch Day preliminary round will select five finalists through the main competition in August, and will gain the right to participate in the 'Twinkle' idea competition at the '2025 Daegu Gyeongbuk Startup Festival' held at the Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Center in September.
Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center CEO Yoo Ju-hyeon said, “I hope this event will be an opportunity to revitalize the Gyeongbuk region’s startup ecosystem and discover excellent startup ideas,” and added, “We will contribute to the development of the local economy through continued support for startups.”
