The Comprehensive Support Center for Disabled Enterprises (Chairman Park Maru) launched the 'Daejeon Disabled Enterprise Promotion Council' on July 18 with the participation of major corporate support organizations in the Daejeon area, academia, patent attorneys, and tax accountants, as well as external experts, and held a meeting.
This council was formed to establish a cooperative plan to promote sustainable growth of disabled enterprises in the Daejeon area. Seven experts from Daejeon Techno Park, Daejeon Job and Economic Promotion Agency, Small Business Market Promotion Agency, Korea Institute of Energy Research, Hannam University, Myeongseong Tax Firm, and Dodam Patent Firm were appointed as expert members of the council. They will be in charge of providing advice and support for disabled enterprises, linking them with support projects, and proposing ways to improve the system.
The Comprehensive Support Center for Disabled Enterprises plans to discover cooperative projects through the council to provide practical support to disabled enterprises in various fields such as funding and finance, intellectual property rights, taxation and accounting, and to promote effective support measures such as linking with public institutions and local government subsidies and introducing a point system.
The meeting focused on discussing practical support measures for local disabled businesses through collaboration with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Groups of Chungnam National University, Hanbat National University, and Hannam University.
Kim Kang-won, head of the Central Region Regional Development Team, said, “The launch of this council is the beginning of practical cooperation to enhance the growth and competitiveness of disabled businesses,” and added, “We will work to ensure that Daejeon can establish itself as a center for fostering disabled businesses through continued communication and cooperation.”
