Megaplan, selected as 'Tips' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups

Megaplan Co., Ltd. announced on the 23rd that it was finally selected for the TIPS program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

Megaplan, which possesses the patented mackerel year-round spawning technology as its core competency, has been finally selected for the TIPS program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and will accelerate the development of AI-based smart aquaculture technology. Through this selection, Megaplan plans to take the lead in the global smart aquaculture market by carrying out the task of ‘Development of a mackerel smart aquaculture farm using AI-based behavioral pattern analysis and digital twin technology.’

The TIPS program is a representative startup support program that links private investment and government support to support the entry of startups with innovative technologies into the global market. Companies selected for the TIPS program can receive R&D funding from the government, and can also receive additional commercialization funding depending on the amount of private investment attracted.
