
Climate tech-based agricultural technology startup Save the Farms (CEO Hwang In-su) announced on the 23rd that it has been finally selected for Hoseo University’s Entrepreneurship-centered University project. Through this selection, Save the Farms plans to accelerate the spread of sustainable agricultural solutions in response to climate change and the creation of a local startup ecosystem.
Save the Farms is strengthening its structure to support startup teams in the climate tech and agricultural food sectors, and its main technology is an eco-friendly agricultural solution using biochar. Through this, it is focusing on increasing environmental sustainability, such as reducing carbon emissions and improving soil in the agricultural sector.
Through Hoseo University's Entrepreneurship-centered University project, Save the Farms plans to receive startup support in various areas, including technology development, prototype verification, and distribution network construction. In addition, the plan is to gradually promote regional technology verification and commercialization as well as entry into overseas markets.
Hwang In-soo, CEO of Save the Farms, said, “Responding to climate change is an urgent task for the agricultural sector as well,” and added, “With this project selection as an opportunity, we will prepare for not only the spread of regional technologies but also entry into the global market.”
