Social enterprise Springshine (CEO Jongsu Kim) announced that it participated in the ESG special exhibition hall of the 'Character Licensing Fair 2025' held at COEX in Seoul from July 17 to 20 and introduced eco-friendly products and characters utilizing the works of developmentally disabled artists.

Springshine is a social enterprise that develops various contents and products based on the creative activities of people with developmental disabilities, and supports their independence and social participation through artistic expression. This exhibition showcases various items such as pottery, stationery, clothing, and fashion accessories using the artistic works of artists with developmental disabilities.

In particular, products made of eco-friendly materials such as pouches, bags, and cushions made from recycled rice sacks and waste plastic, as well as eco-friendly characters developed by Springshine such as ‘Purmi’, ‘Lagoon’, and ‘Puri’, attracted the attention of visitors. In addition, ESG experience kits such as the endangered animal memory game and character cushion making were also exhibited and were evaluated as content that reflected both environmental and social values.

According to Springshine, over 1,000 visitors visited the booth during the exhibition period, and the possibility of future collaboration was expanded through exchanges with various companies and organizations pursuing social value.

Kim Jong-su, CEO of Springshine, said, “We are trying to support the independence of people with developmental disabilities through art education and job creation, while also incorporating eco-friendly elements into product development to realize sustainable social value,” adding, “This exhibition was a meaningful opportunity to inform many citizens of the creative capabilities and possibilities of people with developmental disabilities.”
