The Korea SMEs and Startups Certification Institute (President Jin-yeop Eom, KOSRE) announced on the 23rd that it received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy for its contribution to the development of national industries through advancement and activation of the testing and certification sector at the '2025 World Accreditation Day' ceremony held on the 17th.
'World Accreditation Day' is a commemorative day jointly established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation systems such as inspection and certification.
The Korea SMEs and Startups Certification Institute is the only certification and evaluation agency under the government, and serves as a partner for sustainable development of various organizations such as companies, institutions, and groups. In particular, it has played an active role in spreading ‘integrated and ethical management’ in public institutions through various management system certification standards.
President Jin-Yeop Eom said, “This award is a recognition of our efforts and achievements as a public certification agency that fulfills its social responsibility based on publicness and trustworthiness,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to become a fair and trustworthy partner that goes beyond customer satisfaction and realizes customer impression.”
