MegaZone Cloud Signs MOU with Vietnam HUST for AI and Cloud Education Cooperation

MegaZone Cloud (CEO Dong-Hoon Yeom) , an AI and cloud specialized company, announced on the 24th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with the School of Information and Communication Technology (SoICT) and the School of Mechanical Engineering (SME) under the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Vietnam and will begin cooperation for digital transformation in the Vietnamese education sector.

This agreement was carried out with the goal of expanding cloud and artificial intelligence (AI)-based education infrastructure and fostering specialized talent. MegaZone Cloud and HUST set ▲cloud conversion of the education system ▲joint development of cloud and AI specialized education programs ▲joint research related to manufacturing and automobile industries as key cooperation tasks.

MegaZone Cloud will support the migration of HUST’s online courses (MOOC) and learning management system (LMS) to an Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based cloud environment, and will also provide practical training on AWS infrastructure to local technical personnel. In addition, the two sides plan to jointly pursue research cooperation in industrial fields such as manufacturing data analysis using AI technology and automotive embedded software development.

Additionally, HUST students are provided with hands-on educational programs, including internship opportunities and participation in research projects.

“We hope that through this collaboration, students will be able to acquire practical technical capabilities in the fields of AI, embedded systems, and intelligent digital services,” said Ta Hai Tung, Dean of HUST’s College of Information and Communication Technology.
