
Senior care specialist Caring (CEO Taeseong Kim) announced on the 28th that it signed a business agreement with asset management specialist Woomi Estate (CEO Byeongkwon Kim) for the development and operation of a senior housing business model.
The two companies agreed to cooperate in various areas, including market analysis, product development, operational cooperation, joint development of financial models, response to public-private cooperation projects and consortium formation, and joint brand management, in relation to the senior housing business promoted by Umi Estate.
Caring is the industry leader in nursing services such as home care, day care, and home nursing, and operates the urban paid nursing facility ‘Caring Stay’ and the premium nursing home ‘Caring Village’.
Umi Estate is an asset management company that manages 5,000 rental housing units. Based on its recent experience in operating rental housing and commercial facilities, it is currently promoting the launch of a senior housing brand and the planning of a senior-friendly complex.
Caring CEO Kim Tae-seong said, “As we enter a super-aging society, we need to diversify customized senior housing models that combine housing and care,” adding, “Based on the expertise and experience of both companies, we will strive to create senior-friendly complexes that can be used at a reasonable cost.”
