
Smart Radar System Co., Ltd. (CEO Yong-Hwan Kim), a 4D imaging radar specialist, announced on the 29th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) for sensor fusion technology cooperation with Vueron Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO Jae-Gwang Kim), an AI-based LiDAR perception solution company.
This agreement aims to address the growing demand for high-precision cognitive technologies in diverse fields, including autonomous driving, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), construction and agricultural machinery, mining, and smart cities. Building on their respective core technologies, the two companies plan to jointly develop and commercialize sensor fusion-based complex cognitive solutions.
Smart Radar System is a domestic company that possesses the original technology for 4D imaging radar. Through this collaboration, the company plans to pursue cooperation with the main tasks of joint research on sensor fusion-based cognitive technology, expanding technological exchanges, and establishing a foundation for commercialization of next-generation complex cognitive systems.
Vueron Technology is recognized for its technological prowess in the autonomous driving and smart infrastructure markets, leveraging its AI-based lidar perception solutions, "VueOne" and "VueTwo." Recently, the company launched "VueX," an integrated AI development platform, through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, furthering its global expansion.
The two companies announced that through this agreement, they will realize the fusion of differentiated cognitive technologies and, based on this, establish a foundation for securing competitiveness in the global market.
