Plitto (CEO Lee Jeong-su), a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) language data, announced on the 29th that its "logical inference CoT (Chain of Thought) data" has received data quality certification (DQ: Data Quality) from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA). This certification is the first case of Korean-based AI inference training data, and it received the highest grade, Grade A.
The Korea Information and Communications Technology Association is a statutory body responsible for standardization and testing and certification of information and communications technology. Data quality certification is granted through a comprehensive evaluation of data reliability, accuracy, and usability.
Pluto's certified logical reasoning CoT data was designed for the development of AI models requiring higher-order thinking abilities. Experts in five fields—economics, science, technology, politics, and mathematics—designed the logical structure for each step. Consisting of 11 items, from question to final response, the data was designed to enable AI to logically approach and judge complex queries.
TTA was evaluated based on the validity and accuracy of annotations within the data, logical consistency, and validity of responses, and was reported to have received high marks in particular for the structure of the logical development process and practical usability.
With this certification, Pluto plans to lead the way in establishing basic data quality standards for explainable AI and strengthen its competitiveness in the domestic and international AI learning data markets.
Lee Jeong-su, CEO of Pluto, said, “In an era where AI is required to go beyond simple information processing and possess the ability to actually think and make decisions, CoT data is the foundational, high-precision language asset.” He added, “Through this quality certification, we will lead the data quality standards required to implement explainable AI and further solidify our position in the global market.”
