DeepBrain AI (CEO Se-young Jang), a company specializing in generative artificial intelligence, announced on the 30th that it has obtained certification for 'ISO/IEC 42001:2023', the international standard for artificial intelligence (AI) management systems.
ISO/IEC 42001:2023, jointly established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), is the world's first international standard for AI management systems. It comprehensively assesses, at an organizational level, the implementation of ethical principles, risk management, accountability, and transparency across the entire spectrum of AI technology planning, development, and operation. Major domestic organizations, including Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, SK Telecom, Kakao Bank, and the National Tax Service, have previously obtained this certification.
Through this certification, DeepBrain AI has officially proven that its core services, including its AI Studio and deepfake detection solution, meet internationally recognized standards for reliability, ethics, and risk management. The certification review covered the company's entire AI service offering, and received positive reviews for its AI principles and implementation system, its risk identification and control measures for deepfake technology, and its commitment to operational transparency.
DeepBrainAI plans to use this certification as an opportunity to establish a global management system capable of responding to AI technology utilization and related issues, and to further strengthen the responsible AI operating environment centered on key services.
CEO Jang Se-young stated, “This certification goes beyond simple verification of technological prowess and demonstrates the organization’s commitment to building a trustworthy AI system.” He added, “We will continue to enhance our credibility and competitiveness in the global market through safe and ethical operation of AI technology.”
