Refine Signs Business Agreement with Wonju City Welfare Center for the Disabled

Refine Co., Ltd. (CEO Go Chang-yong), which is developing innovative robot-based assistive devices to support the daily lives of the disabled and the elderly, announced on July 29 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Wonju City Welfare Center for the Disabled (Director Jeong Jin-ae) to improve the quality of life of the disabled and expand their social participation.

This agreement was promoted as part of various support activities to promote social integration of people with and without disabilities in the region, and through this agreement, the two organizations plan to establish a joint cooperation system to support independence and promote welfare for people with disabilities and the elderly in the local community.

The signing ceremony was held at the Wonju City Welfare Center for the Disabled, where Refine Co., Ltd. introduced its products under development and discussed their potential for field application and future directions for use.

“This agreement goes beyond simple device distribution and will be an opportunity to provide solutions optimized for the field through technology verification centered on actual users,” said Gochang Yong, CEO of Refine Co., Ltd. “We will contribute to supporting the recovery of daily life and independence of people with disabilities through cooperation with the local community.”
