Sejong Center Joins Child Abuse Prevention Relay Campaign

On July 29, the Sejong Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Oh Deuk-chang, hereinafter referred to as the “Sejong Center”) participated in the “Child Abuse Prevention Relay Campaign” to protect children’s rights and spread a positive parenting culture.

This campaign is hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Child Rights Protection Agency, and is being promoted in a relay format with public institutions and private organizations across the country to raise social awareness of child abuse prevention and spread the word about a parenting culture centered on respect and care.

Sejong Center participated in the campaign upon the recommendation of Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center CEO Park Dae-hee, and recommended Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center CEO Kim Yong-woo as the next participant.

The Sejong Center stated, “Ensuring that children are safe and respected is the responsibility of the entire community,” and added, “The Sejong Center for Creative Economy and Innovation will also take the lead in creating a healthy startup ecosystem and a child-friendly startup environment.”
