Laon Meta Signs Business Agreement with Agoras

LaonMeta (CEO Lee Soon-hyung), a subsidiary of LaonSecure, announced on the 31st that it signed a 'MOU for cooperation on artificial intelligence (AI)-based IT practice content' with Agoras (CEO Jang Jin-ho), a specialized IT education content company, and is expanding the IT content lineup of its metaverse-based practice platform 'MetaDemi'.

This agreement aims to address the growing demand for AI technology and strengthen the practical training environment for developers to immediately apply it in their work. The government's recent announcement of a 100 trillion won AI industry development policy is driving the widespread adoption of related technologies across all industries. Consequently, demand for IT talent, including AI software developers, is rapidly increasing.

Through this collaboration, Raon Meta plans to integrate Agoras' AI-based software development content into its metaverse-based training platform, Metademi. The content will range from beginner to advanced, and will be designed to provide users with hands-on experience through hands-on training. The two companies plan to continue their collaboration to jointly contribute to the development of IT talent fit for the AI era.

Metademi offers practical content in a variety of fields, including nursing skills, physical therapy, and basic science. Some content, such as laboratory animal autopsy training, is attracting attention as a world first. Content originally offered exclusively for B2B has recently expanded to B2C, and multilingual functionality is also being implemented to lay the foundation for global expansion. With this agreement, Raon Meta plans to further strengthen its IT-related practical content to meet the needs of diverse industries.

Meanwhile, our partner, Agoras, provides content and services specialized in IT and science and engineering education. It operates educational platforms and solutions such as Geek House, Code Friends, Tutorflow, Geek English, and Jam Topic. It also provides various services to major corporations.

Yoon Won-seok, head of the Metademi business division at Raon Meta, said, “Through this collaboration, AI software development training is now possible even in the metaverse environment,” and added, “We will continue to expand the training content so that IT professionals can build capabilities that can be immediately applied to the field through Metademi.”
