The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced that it signed an agreement with Bareworks Co., Ltd. (CEO Taeeun Lim) to introduce the 'Performi' program to improve work engagement and relationships among Busan-style workation participants.
"Busan-style workation" is a program that supports employees of overseas companies and startups to stay in Busan for a certain period of time, combining remote work with local experiences. Beyond a simple visit or trip, the program aims to increase the likelihood of settling in through the experience of actually living in Busan, ultimately leading to corporate relocation or settlement.
Through this agreement, Busan Changgyeong introduced "Performe," a digital-based work productivity platform developed by Betterworks, to help participants focus on their work even in unfamiliar environments. Performe automatically records work hours and visualizes concentration and work types, helping participants understand and effectively manage their work patterns. Furthermore, dashboards and reports provide an environment where individuals and teams can communicate effectively and increase work productivity.
Going forward, Busan Changgyeong and Betterworks plan to collaborate on ▲planning and operating content to enhance workcation productivity using the Performe program, ▲improving the program based on participant work data and feedback, and ▲measuring the effectiveness of organizational culture improvements through work pattern analysis. Through these efforts, Busan-style workcations are expected to move beyond simple accommodation support to become a platform for growth, built on a data-driven, efficient work environment and trust among team members.
Busan Changgyeong CEO Kim Yong-woo said, “This agreement is an important step toward supporting workation participants to have a more immersive work experience in Busan,” and added, “We will continue to collaborate with various partners to introduce innovative programs such as Performi and enhance the content of Busan-style workation.”
