Chungnam Content Promotion Agency (Director Kim Gok-mi) announced on the 1st that it will hold the '2025 World Robo Festa' for two days from Tuesday, August 5th to Wednesday, August 6th at the Gye-Dang Hall of Sangmyung University in Cheonan.
This event, with the slogan "A place for innovation and challenge for a future with physical AI," was planned with the goal of discovering creative talent based on physical AI technology, fostering startups, and expanding the related industrial ecosystem.
Major programs include ▲International Youth Robot Competition ▲Physical AI Startup IR Competition ▲Physical AI University (Graduate School) Student Startup Competition, ▲Robot/Mobility Technology and Promotion Exhibition ▲Online/Offline Exhibition Market 'SHOW&SELL' ▲1:1 Investment Company Meetup Consultation Booth ▲Tech Connect Chungnam 2025 ▲Robot Experience and Citizen Participation Programs.
In particular, six promising domestic investment firms will participate in the investor meetup consultation, and through pre-matching, they will conduct individual consultations with IR competition winners. This will increase the likelihood of investment and commercialization for promising startups.
The event is hosted by the Chungnam Content Agency and co-hosted by seven organizations: the International Youth Robotics Federation, Kongju National University, Sangmyung University, Korea University of Technology and Education, Baekseok University, Sunmoon University, and Hoseo University. South Chungcheong Province, Cheonan City, and the South Chungcheong Provincial Office of Education also participate as sponsors.
Kim Gok-mi, the president of the Chungnam Content Promotion Agency, said, “Physical AI is a field that represents next-generation convergence technology,” and added, “I hope this event will become a platform where various entities, including youth, startups, and investors, can share technology and vision and connect.”
