Generative 3D AI technology startup Endotlight (CEO Jinyoung Park) announced on the 1st that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with humanoid robot specialist Holiday Robotics (CEO Kiyoung Song) regarding the construction and utilization of 3D synthetic data for robot development.
This agreement was signed under a shared vision to advance learning environments and simulation technologies in the fields of physical AI and robotic AI. Building on their respective technological capabilities, the two companies will collaborate to enhance the efficiency of humanoid robot development.
EndotRite utilizes its proprietary 3D modeling engine and Trinix-based synthetic data generation technology to automatically generate and provide the 3D datasets necessary for visual and movement learning for humanoid robots. Holiday Robotics plans to utilize this data to enhance robot AI learning suited to industrial environments and improve robot perception and control precision.
The two companies plan to pursue various technological collaborations in the future, including real-world 3D simulations, automatic construction of synthetic datasets based on work scenarios, and optimization of robot motion and perception training. Through these collaborations, they aim to jointly develop use cases that can reduce the time and cost required to build robot AI training data.
Park Jin-young, CEO of Endotlight, said, “This collaboration will serve as an opportunity to expand the possibilities of robot development based on 3D synthetic data,” and “We also expect it to increase the potential for humanoid robots to be utilized in industrial settings.”
Song Ki-young, CEO of Holiday Robotics, said, “Previously, 3D learning data had to be created manually, but automatic generation technology will improve data construction efficiency and robot simulation performance.”
