Metabuild Co., Ltd. , a company specializing in AI and middleware solutions, and Mediplexus Co., Ltd., a company specializing in real-world data/evidence (RWD/RWE) based on integrated medical data, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote research based on hospital real-world data and commercialize clinical research.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to establish a strategic cooperation system in ▲ AI-based hospital real-world data (RWD) processing and analysis ▲ government projects and joint projects ▲ joint sales of preprocessing and analysis solutions for data-centric hospitals ▲ training of specialized personnel, etc.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of clinical research by combining artificial intelligence technology with hospital medical data, and jointly promote digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
Metabuild plans to integrate its generative AI platform, "LLaMON" (an LLM/ML-based agent and code generation solution), and its medical data integration solution, "MESIM" (a data hub and middleware), with Mediplexus' research services to apply them to hospital-based clinical research environments. This will accelerate the expansion of AI technology into the medical and healthcare industries.
Mediplexus' strategy is to strengthen its data analysis capabilities and improve the quality and accuracy of its research services, based on its experience conducting numerous clinical research projects based on real-world data from hospitals.
A Metabuild representative stated, "By incorporating generative AI-based technologies into the medical data environment, we will be able to expand the range of medical AI applications that can be utilized in actual clinical settings." Mediplexus stated, "We anticipate this collaboration will redefine the standard for hospital RWD analysis and enhance the scope and reliability of clinical research."
