Finger wins contract to enhance Argos AI Current Affairs Analysis service from the National Assembly Library.

Finger , a company specializing in SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms, announced on the 4th that it has won the contract for the 'AI Current Affairs Analysis ARGOS Advanced Project' promoted by the National Assembly Library and will begin full-scale project execution.

"Argos" is an AI-based issue analysis platform operated by the National Assembly Library. It analyzes news and social media data to monitor social issues in real time and supports their use in legislative and policymaking. Utilizing technologies such as text mining, sentiment analysis, and keyword clustering, it is used to enhance the objectivity of political judgment and policy decisions.

Through this enhancement project, Finger plans to expand Argos' analysis scope from the national level to the constituency level. To achieve this, it will integrate data from local media and online communities, strengthening its capabilities to analyze regional issue characteristics, compare issues, and precisely assess policy needs. In particular, Finger plans to establish a data-driven system that can inform policy prioritization decisions through regionally specialized issue analysis.

Additionally, the introduction of a natural language-based conversational interface is also being pursued. When a user asks a question like, "What education-related issues have emerged in Gangseo-gu, Seoul over the past three months?", AI will analyze and summarize the relevant data, providing visualized results. This will allow users to access complex analysis results without requiring specialized knowledge.

This project requires advanced technological capabilities and public project execution experience, as it involves building a platform for real-time data analysis and AI-based policy support within the public sector.

Finger, leveraging its experience implementing various AI and big data projects in the financial and public sectors, plans to collaborate with the National Library of Korea to implement a customized analysis system and user-centric interface. Specifically, the goal is to design a highly effective solution that integrates specialized technologies such as natural language processing (NLP) and sentiment analysis.

A Finger official stated, “This Argos advancement project will be an example of designing a more precise connection between legislative bodies and the public by incorporating AI technology into public data analysis,” and “We will lay the foundation for contributing to the future advancement of the legislative support system in conjunction with the National Assembly Library’s mid- to long-term AI strategy.”
