CareNation Selected as One of Korea's Top 40 Healthcare Innovators

CareNation, a digital care platform, has been selected for the "Top 40 Korean Healthcare Innovators," a joint project by BDMT Global and Fortune Korea. The list focuses on technologies that address unmet needs in the US healthcare sector, based on criteria such as alignment with clinical need, suitability for the US market, technological differentiation and feasibility, and the potential to foster fairness and innovation.

During the selection process, the organizers evaluated that “accessible, intuitive, and care-based products like Carenation can become the foundation for supporting a ‘life with purpose,’ moving aging in America beyond mere survival.” They also noted that structural approaches that directly address issues such as social isolation, lack of transportation access, and health literacy are noteworthy because they simultaneously provide fairness, connection, and dignity.

CareNation (CEO Kim Kyeon-won and Seo Dae-geon) is a digital healthcare platform that connects caregivers with those in need in real time. With unique features such as AI-based smart matching, a transparent pricing structure based on a bidding system, and 24-hour billing and automatic insurance processing, CareNation is addressing the inefficiencies of the existing offline care market.

Seo Dae-geon, CEO of Care Nation, said, “It is very meaningful that the platform that was started to improve the domestic care market that has long been suffering from inefficiency and opacity has now been recognized for its technological prowess and scalability by global experts.” He added, “We will redefine the value of care through digital technology and continue to grow into a care platform that anyone can trust and use when needed.”
