Big Bang Angels Co., Ltd. (CEO Hwang Byeong-seon) and Vector Technology Investment Co., Ltd. (CEO Shin So-woo), a new technology finance company, announced on August 6, 2025 that they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for business cooperation to strengthen the discovery and nurturing of promising technology startups.
This agreement aims to combine the resources and core competencies of both companies to revitalize and foster mutual growth within the technology-based venture ecosystem. Building on this partnership, the two organizations plan to collaborate closely across various areas, including jointly discovering promising startups, strengthening investment connections, supporting full-cycle growth, co-operating acceleration programs, and supporting global expansion.
Specifically, the two companies will leverage their respective networks to jointly discover promising startups, conduct screening and select investment targets, and actively consider joint and follow-up investments in mutually recommended companies. Furthermore, the two companies will strengthen incubation support, including technical consulting and infrastructure integration, jointly operate mentoring, networking, and seminars, and collaborate to strengthen startups' overseas expansion capabilities.
This agreement is significant because it combines Big Bang Angels' incubation experience and network, specializing in supporting early-stage startups, with Vector Technology Investment's investment expertise and financial strength. Vector Technology Investment was recently selected as the general manager (GP) for the Gyeongbuk and Jeonnam regional innovation venture fund, along with Oracle Venture Investment.
The two companies plan to provide practical growth opportunities to early-stage companies possessing technological prowess but facing challenges in securing funding or business advancement. They also plan to support startups' scale-up and global expansion through a one-stop growth support system covering the entire lifecycle. They anticipate a positive ripple effect across the domestic venture ecosystem.
