Gyeongconjin is recruiting companies to participate in its "FGT Support Project," targeting promising gaming companies in the province.

The Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Yong-seok Tak, hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Agency) announced on the 7th that it will be recruiting game developers in Gyeonggi Province to participate in the '2025 Gyeonggi Game Public-Private-Academic Cooperation FGT Support Project' until August 20th.

This program targets 10 game developers in the province. Applicants can apply for any game released within the past two years, regardless of platform (mobile, PC, console), genre, or previous release date. Selected companies will receive free online and offline focus group testing (FGT) with domestic and international users.

By collecting user feedback through FGT and using this feedback to verify game playability and improve development direction, participating companies can expect to strengthen their market competitiveness.

This project is being implemented after the Gyeonggi Global Game Center was selected for the Korea Creative Content Agency's National Global Game Center Competition for two consecutive years. This year, the number of test participants will be expanded from 100 to a maximum of 200, and the FGT will involve users from various regions, both domestically and internationally.

In conjunction with the "Gyeonggi Game Connect 2025" event scheduled for late October, support will be provided to selected companies to enable them to participate in the program. Furthermore, a curriculum-linked program will be operated in which students in game-related departments in the province will directly participate as testers, strengthening the public-private-academic cooperation system.

A Gyeonggi Province official said that the demand for FGT based on user feedback during the game development process is increasing, and that this project will increase the market entry potential of small and medium-sized game developers in the province and provide practical, on-site experience to students.

Detailed information about the business can be found on the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency website , and companies wishing to participate can apply by email (ram@gcon.or.kr) until 2:00 PM on August 20.
