
Wave Company, a smartwear-based fitness solution development company, announced on the 7th that it participated in 'SPORTEC 2025 Tokyo' held at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan from July 30th to August 1st and showcased its solutions.
SPORTEC is a sports and fitness industry trade show. Wave Company operated an experiential exhibition booth centered around its AI-based posture analysis solution, TracMe. Visiting buyers, fitness experts, and medical professionals tried on the smartwear and experienced TracMe's real-time posture analysis and AI coaching capabilities.
In particular, the precision joint angle measurement and user-customized feedback functions implemented through the self-developed TracSil™ sensor received a lot of attention from visitors, and the company reported that there were positive responses from various fields regarding the product's usability.
During the exhibition, Wave Company held numerous one-on-one business meetings with Japanese fitness companies, rehabilitation medical equipment distributors, and sports agencies. It is reported that some companies even held practical discussions regarding local test sales and distribution collaborations in Japan. The company plans to actively pursue securing official sales channels in the Japanese market through follow-up meetings following the exhibition.
A Wave Company representative stated, “This exhibition was an opportunity to establish practical contact with the Japanese sports and healthcare industries,” and “We will begin to fully advance into the Japanese market through product localization and strategic partnerships based on local needs.”
