AI communication platform company Wise AI (CEO Song Hyeong-seok) announced on the 7th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Yomangjin Research Institute (CEO Choi Seong-gi), a sports facility digital transformation (DX) solution company, for entry into the US market and joint technology development.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to pursue ▲joint entry into the U.S. market ▲establishment of joint marketing and operation strategies ▲customer acquisition and retention ▲technology integration and advancement ▲joint execution of government R&D projects.
In the initial phase of their collaboration, the two companies will focus on developing an AI-based integrated operations management platform targeting approximately 3,500 Korean-run taekwondo schools, among the approximately 2.94 million taekwondo practitioners and 15,000 taekwondo schools in the United States. Wise.AI plans to apply its AI communication technology to Yomangjin Research Institute's taekwondo school management solution, "STEP AI Manager."
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to implement operational automation functions such as member churn prediction, automatic management of delinquent tuition fees, and new member acquisition campaigns into the platform, thereby fully entering the AI-based SaaS (software as a service) market targeting Taekwondo gyms in the United States.
Wise AI currently operates AI solutions in over 300 medical institutions across Korea, demonstrating proven effectiveness in increasing hospital revenue and improving customer service efficiency. The company explains that this technology can also be applied to small businesses, such as taekwondo studios, to improve customer management and profitability.
Building on its experience developing digital transformation solutions for small businesses, Yomangjin Research Institute is expanding into the sports retail sector. The company plans to target the US Taekwondo market, focusing on the local network of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Kim Dae-ryong. Director Kim has operated Taekwondo studios in the US for 18 years and, based on his experience with 160 US studios, has secured letters of intent and a $24,000 down payment from 10 studios.
Wise AI stated, “This agreement will serve as a strategic foundation for expanding the scope of AI platform utilization beyond healthcare to the global small business market,” and “We plan to explore the possibility of global expansion by combining proven AI technology with local market expertise.”
