Grepp (CEO Seongsu Lim), an AI-powered online assessment platform company, announced on the 11th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Prometric, a global computer-based testing (CBT) specialist, establishing a strategic partnership. Prometric is a leading global CBT company, operating various international certification exams, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) exam and the CELPIP English Proficiency Test.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to distribute Grepp's developer assessment content, "Programmers," and its online exam proctoring solution, "Monito," globally through Prometric's global distribution network. They will also jointly develop a digital assessment model that combines AI-based proctoring technology with an international exam administration network.
Grepp has implemented the entire digital testing process, from assessment content planning to online test administration and proctoring, using proprietary technologies through "Programmers" and "Monito." "Monito" is used in a variety of practical settings, including government certification testing for public institutions, and is recognized for its stability and security.
Prometric operates internationally recognized certification exams through approximately 8,000 testing centers in over 180 countries. We specialize in all aspects of the testing process, including test administration, candidate management, and quality control, and we possess the capabilities to design testing environments that comply with regulatory standards in each country.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly develop a digital assessment model capable of responding to the rapidly changing global testing environment. Grepp will apply its remote proctoring technology, "Monito," and Prometric will add its global operational infrastructure to pursue joint research and development (R&D) across content and assessment solutions. This is expected to result in the creation of an assessment system that boasts a highly reliable testing environment, technological convenience, and operational flexibility.
