Dipli (CEO Suji Lee), a domestic sound-based artificial intelligence (AI) technology startup, announced on the 11th that it has completed the 5th project of 'Hatch Dimension X', a global public safety demonstration program led by the Singapore government.
This program, a global proof-of-concept (PoC) project hosted by the Home Team Science & Technology Agency (HTX), a science and technology agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOH) of Singapore, conducted four months of demonstration testing with technology companies around the world to validate technologies in the public safety sector. Dipli was the only Asian company selected for Cohort 5 and the second Korean company to participate.
Diply utilized its sound-based anomaly detection technology, "Listen AI," to collect and analyze noise data from real-world locations and implement scenarios to detect potential emergencies in areas such as CCTV blind spots and privacy-protected spaces. The tests involved installing microphones in outdoor spaces to analyze various environmental noises in real time.
The final presentation event, "HTX Hatch Final Demo Day," was held in Singapore on July 31st. Deeply demonstrated the feasibility and completeness of its technology through presentations and demonstrations to government officials and security industry professionals. An audience-participatory demo was also held at the event, garnering positive feedback from stakeholders.
Through this demonstration project, Diply has secured the possibility of follow-up collaboration with HTX and plans to continue discussions on the scope of future technology applications. Furthermore, the company is exploring opportunities to expand its market presence through follow-up networking with system integrators, partners, and investors.
Diply is developing solutions that can be applied to various fields such as smart cities, public safety, and industrial safety by utilizing sound-based AI technology. The company plans to accelerate technological advancements with the goal of expanding exports to the global public safety sector in the future.
A company representative stated, “This demonstration project is an important milestone that has verified the effectiveness and practicality of the technology,” and added, “We will continue to develop Deply’s AI technology so that it can become a practical public safety infrastructure in the Asian and global markets.”
